About Work: Expectation VS Reality

If we talking about work, as a well-educated person, some people will have a high expectation of what they would do for acquiring more money through working. They will spend all their time, keep studying to stabilize their rank or achievement in academics, in this case, GPA. For any reason, achieving more grades means your doorstep to a better future is wide open.

On the other hand, people with low-leveled education tend to expect more simple things, as long as I can work, it’s fine. So, those people will do everything to survive in this world. They don’t take some arguments about what they must do with money, to invest it or just save it.

In my opinion, both of the POV is just for low-minded people that have short-overview with this world nowadays. Education at this time no longer gives you the easiest access to work, and a not-educated person can’t have a better position at work. Some of us probably noticing that plenty of people that graduated from a well-known university, from undergraduate to doctoral, but still have a problem getting appropriate work. Contrary, we also witnessed that some people that have a low education level, have a remarkable achievement relating to work. Instead of applying for a job, they create a new job for other people. If you want some examples of it, feel free to overview the stories of Mrs. Susi Pudjiastuti or Mr. Bob Sadino. Both of them is an entrepreneur, even not graduating from a good and reputable school, they have a strong will and managerial talent that they learn from daily life. For me, that’s more than enough to compare, don’t expect too high, or you will struggling yourself in the future. Education is one of many aspects that determine your capability to get a job, but not the primary. Softskill, on the other hand, have more implementation and sometimes guarantee a position in work for you. But, all of you can’t deny that there is one aspect that always spares a seat at work: the power of the insider.
